The American Heroes Event
Was designed to showcase our Military while inviting our community to show their gratitude for the sacrifices our Active and Reserve Personnel and their families have made for our beloved Country!
This race attracts over 2,000 runners from all over the Country. All 5 branches of our Military represented. Teams form from family members, corporations, friends of our troops, schools, churches and Military Commands from Ft Hood, Sheppard, The Joint Reserve Base in Fort Worth, Tinker Air Force Base and many others come out for this great event.
Runners enjoy the 3 major sites in Arlington as they run past the TX Rangers Ballpark, Six Flags and the Dallas Cowboy Stadium.
The Events are: a 1K little Troop Run, a 5k run/walk and a 10K. Followed by a full Memorial Day Tribute and concert.
